Now Hiring: Assistant Store Manager (float position in the Puget Sound)

Schedule: Full-time, including nights and weekends

Compensation: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)

Location: Washington District

We're excited to grow our WA district management team by adding a floating Assistant Store Manager, focused on supporting multiple stores in the South Puget Sound.

  What you’ll be doing:
•       Partner with Store Managers in multiple store locations to help run each business
•       Work a flexible schedule across 3-5 Whistle stores, depending on need
•       Report to the WA District Manager
•       Model and train excellent customer service
•       Create a thriving store culture by developing future leaders
•       Supervise and assist with training all store personnel
•       Leverage your unique role to share best practices and ideas across stores
•       Champion the company’s B2B relationships
•       Open and close the store
•       Process merchandise shipments
•       Merchandise and recover the store
•       Process customer transactions on the register 
•       Prepare bank deposits and drop at bank
•       Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and District Manager

What You’ll Need:

•       Ability to travel to different store locations each week, with a primary focus in the South Puget Sound (Kent to Olympia).
•       High School Diploma
•       Minimum of 2 years of prior retail leadership experience
•       Must be able to climb a ladder
•       Must be able to lift 25 pounds
•       Must be able to stand for long periods of time
•       Bilingual a plus (Spanish preferred)
•       Desire for career growth to Store Manager a plus
